"Easy street parking as the block of shop lots were mainly empty. The room we were given had no windows and there is no lift, the stairs were uneven so you need to take care. I found the bed uncomfortable and it was noisy (poor soundproofing)but otherwise, given the price, it is good value. You will need transport to get into Taiping as it is on the outskirts of the town. "

"A basic value for money hotel that is good for short stay. No cleaning or top up service provided during my two nights stay. Door closing in neighbouring rooms and rain can be heard despite no windows in my room but otherwise fine. Two shopping malls of walking distance away with many eateries around. "It is really clean and the windows are full height from the ground to the ceiling, so you get a complete view of the mountains. Darvin was very communicative and attentive to our needs. Was able to understand The circle ground in front of the hotel has a night carnival with car racing, bouncy, castles and ebikes to rent. There is a lot of food to try around, if you are willing to eat under a makeshift shelter tent. The natural view is terrific from the hotel, the natural areas within 5 km...
