"This is a really nice place to stay. It’s Newley remodeled and really clean. Our tv wasn’t working so the manager drove from her house just to get it working. "

"Hotel is being renovated. Eventually adding a restaurant. All the rooms in our building are new. No construction noise when we stayed. It is well located with food options a short walk or drive nearby. The only negative I could think of is the exit/ entrance. It is hard to see to exit the hotel, hopefully they add an exit on the other side which would make it so much easier ( they have it fenced off at the moment). Old town is a short drive away."

"We travel to the coast a couple times a year and always stay at Blue Lake Casino. It’s clean. Staff is friendly and on-site food is always good. My son enjoys the pool and I like the proximity to the ocean. It is perfect for traveling between the redwoods south of Eureka and Trinidad/ Patrick’s point to the north. "

"It’s a no frills hotel. Really easy walk to room. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Good breakfast was easy and uncrowded. Definitely best deal in Arcata or Fortuna all around "

"We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool. We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy."

"It’s a great location and great hotel. Staff was quick and easy to work with. However, it’s unfortunate Eureka isn’t a safe walking area anymore, and the transients yelling all night or a dog barking in another room kept me awake "

"Great location if you are going to Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, CA. There is a grocery store near by and food options. The staff was friendly and the complementary breakfast was good. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast options were ok, lots of options. Pool was really nice and comfortable (as a parent watching younger kids - the indoor outdoor pool room wasn't hot and stuffy as they usually are). The kids enjoyed it. Close to grocery store and some restaurants. Location is pretty quick to Sue Meg State Park and redwood hikes! Cookies in the evening at the front desk."
