"I have stayed at Hotel Emporio many times and it is the superb service and attention by the staff that warrants my return to the hotel. From the bellboys and reception, to the maid service and the restaurant and pool area workers, everybody is always smiling and offering their assistance with anything that I may need or want. "Hotel is of older date, but very well renovated. Room was spacious and kitchen was well equipped.
Beautiful views from the hotel.
Due to the low occupancy in the hotel, there are plenty of space around the pool etc, but only 1 of their 3 restaurants are open.
2 major drawbacks; food quality in restaurant is way below average and overpriced for what it is - example a pizza is 400 pesos and quality worse than pizza hut.
Secondly the balcony doors are paper thin so you hear the music from the...

"Irma is located beatiful, with magnificent view over the Zihuatanejo bay. The pool area is great too.
The service are not good; check-in was a drag. The english language was a Challenge at reception. We prepaid for 5 people, only showed up 4, still they wanted us two pay xtra because the child was 13 and for them an adult. We wrote the age before we paid…. In the end, they understood, that we had already paid for 4 adult in advance…
