"We have been to Ocean Shores many times over the last 22 years. In the past we have stayed at other hotels that are very close by. This was our first stay at the Grey Gull due to others were full. Turns out this one was way more reasonably priced then the others and it was on a clam dig weekend. The room was nice and even had a separate bedroom which I did not notice when I booked it. This will be where we stay in future visits to Ocean Shores. Thank you, Don"

"The property is pretty nice. They’ve tried to upgrade it, but it’s an older building. The management was fantastic and let us check in early and even opened the pool and hot tub early. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is the floors, especially under the beds, were dirty. "

"The staff while friendly had no idea about the area in general. They charged me twice for a deposit accidentals and did not return the deposit. The room was nice facing the ocean. However, if you are noise sensitive you might want to request a room without a door connecting the room next door. Also if you want to sleep with the window open, there is a little water overflow area, just outside the windows facing the water, where frogs like to nest and croak all night. "To be honest, this was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Somehow the booking got messed up and we got moved to another room. I asked if there was going to be additonal charges for that and I was told no. The second morning, they tried charging my card twice yet no one in the office could tell me why it was happening. Then they tried to charge me again that night over double the first attempted charges. Even left a voicemail saying that we didnt pay so we had to leave. The next morning,...

"Was supposed to have a pool. the pool was closed for whatever reason and the remote in the room didnt work. i asked for new batteries and they didnt work either, so they just brushed it off and said it was fine. i didnt get to watch TV . they had a old sponge and it was too small to even use in the sink. and next door there was screaming and yelling."

"The room was filthy other than a quick surface clean. The heat pump doesn’t work in tiny house 5 and they know it, but denied knowing. However its a 400sq ft cabin and that heat pump shoild be able to heat it, it was 61 degrees in there all night, with the heat turned up as high as it would go.
