Extremely Disappointing Stay – Major Security & Service Issues
I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, and our experience was incredibly frustrating and concerning. I arrived a bit early, which I understand is not always ideal, but I’ve had hotels accommodate early check-ins before. Unfortunately, I was told the check-in time was strictly 4 PM, so I left and returned later at 4 PM. When I arrived, there was a long line of guests checking in at the same time, which led me to believe the hotel had only been giving out 4 PM check-ins for everyone.
When I was finally checked in, I was given keys to a room that was already occupied—this was a major security issue. Not only did I walk into a room with someone else’s belongings, but it also made me question how secure the hotel’s booking and room assignment system really is. What if someone had been given access to my room, thinking it was theirs? This is a massive red flag in terms of safety.
After notifying the receptionist about the issue, she gave me keys to a second room. When I went up to that room, it wasn’t even cleaned yet! I was at this hotel with my family, and it was already 5 PM—by this point, I had been waiting for my room for over an hour. I had no place to rest, and my family and I were left wandering the hotel with our bags.
