"Sweet little motel, but we thought it could be so much better with some updating. 1-second elevator should be repaired and put into use 2-room a/c unit had a clicking sound 3-a diverter of some kind should be put on the a/c blower to keep it from blowing directly onto the sleeper in the nearest bed 4-a strainer of some kind should be affixed to the sink drain 5-a handle should be placed at the tub to make entering and exiting safer 6-the water flow for the shower was weak 7-the lighting in...

"We loved the rooms and they were very clean. The staff was helpful but at check in they gave us a room with a patio. I had booked and paid for a balcony which they corrected. We went to use the hot tub which is the one amenity we really wanted. It was out of order. We asked the staff about it, and they apologized but did not offer anything for our inconvenience. I would stay here again but would call to see if the hot tub was fixed, if it wasn't, we would book elsewhere. Thank you."

"When we checked in Miss Shelly at the desk was very friendly and helpful. She was great with my young son. We had a small issue with our room and they immediately moved us to a new room and were apologetic. Breakfast was decent enough and we went both mornings we were there. Close by to family fun activities, restaurants, and the beach. We feel we got what we paid for with this hotel."

"We had a very nice stay at the Driftwood Resort, even though it was a short one. If you’ve stayed at older beach properties before, you’ll know what to expect. There was a little bit of a musty smell and the room was definitely humid, but honestly that seems pretty typical for places this close to the water, especially when the windows open completely so you can enjoy the ocean air and view.
