"Good location liked the paddle boats! Bbq and outdoors nice! Fire pit was nice but didn’t get to use it due to restrictions! Swimming not the best as very rocky area! No AC so it is warm but we brought or own fans which helped some! Overall nice place and no issues! "

"My friends and I had the most amazing time at this lovely property. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need for a comfortable stay (beds were very comfy!). The host, Karen, was very responsive and and friendly. The location is great, close enough to Halifax so its easily accessible but the cottage feels quiet and private. Loved the firepit and the hot tub! "

"I highly recommend the August house. Each room is unique, but they're all attractively and interestingly decorated. We stayed in room 3, which has a king size bed and a huge bathroom. I particularly liked that there are several quiet lounge areas where you can get coffee or tea and any additional cups or glasses you might need. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and wholesome. There's parking right out front and best of all, the staff is really dedicated to the comfort of the guests. "
