"The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. The downstairs is full of games like table tennis, pool, ski-ball and plenty of board games and such. The kids in our group never once said they were bored. It was a Thanksgiving miracle! There are so many extras as well, several types of hot chocolate/coffee makers, plenty of pots and pans, we even made soda slushees with the ice cream machine! They really thought of everything....

"This is a lovely cabin surrounded by nature. It was spotlessly clean with a great bed and wonderful deck to relax and unwind. It was a great launch pad for exploring the surrounding area. Our host was fantastic and accommodated our last minute trip to Smithville. We will definitely visit again!"

"This is like home away from home. I pets were allowed access to the wonderful fenced in backyard. Our children recently moved to TN and the house happened to be 7 min. From their. It allowed us to enjoy Christmas day as a family. We will definitely choose to stay here again. The property management is very responsive and attentive about if anything is needed. It is located in a lovely subdivision and about 15 min. From downtown Cookeville. There are many state parks nearby also."
