"Would probably have rated the hotel 4 overall due to the site at the beach, but our stay was negatively influenced by a lot of noice from the room above. The person staying there walked during the night and our ceiling was creaking and cracking so it was difficult to sleep. Also people walked right in front of our window giving us no privacy (stayed in room 109)"

"This was a great bargain and a nice place to spend the night. The staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I had a nice ocean view from the top balcony and the rooms are off the main highway which made for a quiet night. I highly recommend this hotel if traveling through Brookings, Oregon."

"Room smelled so bad i had to go buy room freshener, could feel springs in the mattress, pillows were like little balls stuffed in pillow cases, tv remote didn't work right, shampoo and soap dispensers in shower were empty, no hand towel or wash towel provided. Shelf in bathroom was rusty, it's a costal property. Staff was friendly. "

"The location of this single wide mobile home was incredible; on the banks of the Winchuck River and a ten minute walk to the beach! We watched waterfowl, heard owls and saw a fox. However, the mobile home itself was worn out, and there was an overpowering smell of air freshener that no amount of fresh air could dissipate. We messaged the owner twice about animal noises coming from underneath the trailer. "

"This motel is the best stay in town with hands down best beach access which is literally across the street. We spent every night combing the beach for eye candy treasures of colorful starfish and giant green anemones. It was nice to hang out at the picnic tables late at night just to chill, listen to the ocean, watch the cars go by. The owners are friendly and offer frequently how they can help us enjoy our stay.
