"Our family of four and a baby enjoyed our stay in the lakehouse on Lake Mattoon. Communication was easy with the owner. A beautiful four bedroom home. The basement temperature was very cool even in July. The master bedroom is upstairs and three bedrooms are in the basement, one being smaller than the other two. There are two and a half baths and a nice laundry room. We had six towels, washcloths and hand towels. Bring your own beach towels as they are not provided. There was a bait...

"I had some very specific requests for room assignment at check-in and RAJ at the Front Desk was spectacular! He went through each point and ensured the room we got was absolutely the best available. All that was for the cheapest (and reasonably) priced room. As a result, we had a great, quiet and comfortable stay. I recommend requesting a room facing away from the very close highway. We didn’t hear a thing! "

Morgenmaden var rigtig fin og generelt så et hyggeligt sted med sødt personale. Hotellet ligger lidt ude, men MacDonald ligger lige overfor. Vi kørte små 6 km. og tog maden med retur til værelset. "

"Superb service and assistance from the entire team during the threat of an imminent tornado! The staff was fabulous in checking in guests who were seeking shelter during the threat of a tornado as well as meeting their needs. They remained calm, collected, kind and caring throughout the evening! I was most impressed that they had two rooms available for shelter in the event that the tornado was spotted in the vicinity!"

Most restaurants were within a quick driving distance. It was quiet, there was a lot of slamming doors or noisiness late at night and the hotel was pretty booked. "
