"Loved the historically accurate home and setting. It is obvious that the owners have taken great care in building and decorating it after the colonial Virginia period. "Great little place for an overnight "

"A great place, clean, beautiful nature around.We had activities in Williamsburg, VA. The place was about 30 min drive thru peaceful countryside. Highly recommended !!"

"We were competing in a regional B.A.S.S. tournament on the James River and the house was in a very convenient location to Osborne ramp and park. The house was as advertised, and the communication with the host was exceptional! "

"Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. "

"Very spacious and comfortable home. So close to many historic sites that we enjoyed daily. Large yard for the kids to run around and much privacy. The managers were very prompt with all communication. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Loved the stay. "

"Property on outside was beautiful. On inside was very nice. When you first walk in, carpet looked worn and it did not smell very fresh. Some paint on walls was chipped off. Master bathroom sink drains pretty slow. These are not deal breakers for us but giving you feedback. We will be back and would recommend others. It was a nice time."

"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. "It was really good! The hotel room was clean and neat. There was a rainfall shower head. The hotel is being renovated so the outside looks like a prison but the inside looked amazing!! Elevator needs updating. But other than that we will definitely be back!!!"

"Vi var glade for opholdet på langt de fleste punkter. Lejligheden var pæn og meget veludstyret - også hvad angår køkkenet. Poolområdet var fint og personalet var meget imødekommende og serviceminded. Deres wi-fi-løsning var til gengæld helt skidt. De havde outsourcet servicen til AT&T og kun henvise dertil. Vi talte med AT&T 3 gange, men havde stadig en uge med store opkoblingsproblemer. Det kan afholde os fra at komme igen, men lægger man ikke står vægt på wi-fi, er der ingen grund til ikke at...
