"My husband and I travelled with 4 other couples to ride side by sides at the local OHV trails. This house is even better than the pictures show. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could have ever wanted to prepare food. We swam in the pond and grilled out on the provided traeger grill. We had the best time and plan to be back!!! This is easily one the best hidden gems in IL."

"The house was older as expected in Pleasant Hill. Very quiet neighborhood and ample space. Stayed three nights everything was as expected. Owners were awesome and responsive. We have booked for two more stays in the fall. Everything is close for groceries. "

"Great staff clean and simple pets welcome was perfect for us location good close to food places only issue I had is the smell of smokers in the rooms my clothes got that smell other then that comfortable hotel old outside but ok inside if you want breakfast included go to the super 8 across the way nicer but double the price but better everything if you want the better experience but my budget worked better with this one hotel "

"A friend and I stayed for easy access to Cuivre River State Park. This house delivered -- a short walk from the Old School hose trail. Also, multiple outdoor sitting areas, including a charcoal grill and fire pit. "

"The cabin was cute and nicely updated. The inside was very clean, well furnished, and stocked with all of the essentials. The outside had some useful amenities and a relaxing atmosphere but it wasn't as well kept as the inside. There were tons of spider webs, which wasn't unexpected, but the entire exterior could have used a good powerwash.The location/neighborhood seemed somewhat ok but it isn't the most diverse place and some may not feel welcome in that area. "We drove over 12 hours to bring our 3 boys to Purler Wrestling Academy for a 5 day camp. The boys stayed at the wrestling facility (except for the last night ) and we stayed in the foxes den.Let me start by saying it far exceeded my expectations!! Clean was an understatement it was immaculate! It looked like it was straight out of a magazine. The way she had everything set up and decorated was so inviting and beautiful.Diane was amazing hostess ! If you forgot it , no worries she remembered it !...

"This was a lovely place. It had everything we needed. Drawers and cabinetswere labeled which made easy to things we needed. We wish the weather was warmer so we could check out the walking trail on the property. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We were thrilled to arrive and find a spotless, very well stocked cottage walking distance to the cute downtown Troy center with restaurants, cafes and historic houses. We stayed 5-nights and had everything we needed to cook meals for the family, I even baked a cake. There were extra toiletries in case we forgot anything, to a of towels and extra linens. We even brought the dog, and there is a huge, green grassy outdoor space for him to stretch his legs (no fence). Comfy sofa and beds. Really no...
