"Nice basic place to spend a night. We didn’t have time to swim, but pool looked fine. Breakfast options were pretty good (cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, fruit, MYO waffles) except that the juice in the dispenser was old, not spoiled but stale/dirty tasting. We wondered if the tap water was safe because we were handed a bottled water at check-in (without explanation) and there was a jug water cooler in the breakfast area. Toilet seat had a broken hinge. "I found a tick in the bed that bit me twice. The WiFi code was expired. The bed was hard as a rock. There was no land line to call the office. I had to go to the restaurant to communicate. The sausage at breakfast was horrible. I had to spit it out. I made them give me credit for the second night. I told them I was not going to stay there another night. They did credit me on that but should have reimbursed on the first night also but I didn’t ask them to do that ."

"The Bait Shop Cabin was perfect for our weekend anniversary trip! Luxurious touches like 2 fireplaces, a rain head shower/steamer, and an extremely comfortable king-size bed left us feeling pampered in this cozy cabin. "My friends and I were blown away by this property. Large space, plenty of bedrooms and beds. I went with a group of 12 adults & nobody needed to share a bed. The beach is well-maintained and secluded, lots of privacy. Plenty of activities indoor & outdoor, this is a great place for a family trip, or an adult-only trip. "Property & room were clean & well kept. Staff was friendly & helpful. Due to a previous tornado, the pool was not yet ph balanced for use. The dining room was beautiful but the food offered was less than desirable, we checked out without eating."

"The room was clean, quiet and fully stocked. Future tenants need to be prepared to go up 2 flights of stairs and the toilet is child height. The bed could be larger and more comfortable. Other than that the stay was enjoyable."

It is stated in the listing but know there are alot of stairs for this property and the one above. If your knees can handle it, it is worth it. One thing otherd may want to know.
