"If you’re looking for a private, quiet, peaceful getaway, with very limited Internet or wireless service, then this place is for you. It was beautiful, serene, and calming. We had a cabin at the top of the hill with a small porch overlooking a lovely valley. The king sized bed was a little hard and the pillows aren’t fluffy but that’s what we like so it wasn’t an issue for us. Room includes a small refrigerator, microwave and small coffee pot. It was all very clean. There happened to be a full...

"Lazy L Ranch in Bandera is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing Texas Hill Country getaway. The property has a peaceful, authentic country atmosphere and is a great place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Bandera itself has plenty of Texas charm, and the location makes for a fun escape from the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Lazy L to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable Hill Country experience."

"The cabin was precious, very clean. Very cool and comfortable. Loved the calm and relaxing environment. The staff very friendly and informative. Enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon"

"Great place to stay clean and private enough to feel loved me no one else around and at the same time if need help or have a problem someone right there for you loved it "

"Great place to get away from the world."

"Nice nearby pool, great amenities."

"View was spectacular from cabin 41. Lots of birds. Nice and cool with a lovely breeze in morning and evening. Internet was very spotty and poor cell service so be prepared for that. Cabin is plain but super clean and the price is right. Would definitely return"

"Acceptable "

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Not as advertised!Double wide outdated trailer. Clean, hot water and heat fine, quiet setting. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were not usable. My bathroom needed at least shampo and a hairdryer. The nice deck is a .4 mile walk. Nice views of hills but no rocky mountains! Upgrading pillows and bedding would be a plus!We made it work but disappointed. "

"The little cottage in Medina was very clean, cozy and a nice hub away from the busy! Busy meaning lots of people. The road itself was busy with motorcyclist enjoying the area which was nice to see. Hosts were very responsive, kind and generous. Space is pet friendly and we enjoyed taking walks down thru town and the neighborhood."

"The Utopia River Retreat was just what we needed after 3 nights camping out in Big Bend. The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens). The grounds were peaceful and scenic and had a nice swimming pool and volleyball net as well as riverfront access. At this time the river on the property didn't look great for swimming (no deep spits, tree branches, etc), but if you want to swim, Utopia City Park has a deep...

"Everything about it was awesome and exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our stay. Close to town and not too hard to find - directions were great! Even got to see a few deer during our stay. I would definitely use again if we were that way."
