"The cabin was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like are the 2 windows on top don’t have curtains to cover them up but other then that they were perfect. Don’t understand the “mandatory fee” for the rental."

"It was beautiful and quiet. They had everything you need to eat at the cabin except food so I would make sure to take a cooler with food. Also get gas when you're 40 or 50 miles from there. It's a long way to get gas. If bugs are swarming your car when you're driving in, it might be butterflies. The second time I drove in, I slowed down and enjoyed watching the butterflies fly around the car."

"We had a wonderful time staying at The Secluded Cabin on 4th of July weekend. The weather unfortunately didn’t cooperate but that didn’t ruin our trip! Kat gave us wonderful suggestions of things to go around the area. The cabin was clean, had all the things we needed to bbq and provided some wonderful relaxation! "

"We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. The first 2 nights, we were the only ones in the property, so, it was truly an away-from-it-all vacation. Our pups loved it too and was super thrilled to see deer in the yard in the morning. The river was dried up (in November), but, the trees had turned colors, so, it was nice. This location is perfect if you want to visit Garner State Park and Lost Maples. "

"We enjoy our weekend at Deer Run Cabin. The property along with the town seemed quite and safe. Prefect for relaxing. About a 30 minute drive to Lost Maples Park. "

"I booked this property due to having 2 separate sleeping/living spaces. My friend and I were able to work compatibly during the day and come together for meals. The town was cute and the walk up to the viewing platform was not too challenging. It was a great get away. "

"Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...
