"We loved our stay and would highly recommend this unexpected find!Mish, the host, was excellent with communication and thoughtfully prepared the cottage with little touches such as easter eggs for the kids.It was a very comfortable stay, the house well set up with a dishwasher, large fridge and gas oven/stovetop, as well as an outdoor bbq. The woodfire was easy to use and kept the place cosy overnight.Downstairs, the daybed and sofabed were good for the kids while we appreciated retreating up...

"We had a delightful stay at the Shearer's Huts and had a great time testing our telescopes and astrophotography while we were there. Beds are comfy, kitchen is cute, fridge was generously full. We appreciated the fire pit on cold nights too. Lucy is a wonderful host. "
