"Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us! "We need to visit this area several times a year. It's close to Cooperstown an easy drive along the lake with a price that is reasonable. Rooms are recently renovated and well maintained. Staff and owners are easy to communicate with. The information needed for check in, stay and departure were easily laid out. If you need a place to stay while having business to do in the Cooperstown area, I highly recommend KC's and best of all your pet is welcome."

"The whole experience of staying in a train car was fun. But when I walked in it was better than I could have ever imagined. The decor was on point bringing you back in time. Host was wonderful, space was clean, comfortable and beautiful. I loved that it was right next to the river which was so peaceful to have a cup of morning coffee. "My family and I stayed while our son played at Dreams Park. Excellent location and perfect for 4 of us! The pool was great to keep my other kids entertained during down time. Multiple shared washers and dryers were a great perk! The open field was also great for my children to play volleyball and wiffle ball! Would definitely stay again!"
