"Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. "Our host was very communicative and check-in/out was easy. Our family thouroughly enjoyed the open plan with comfy rooms and a charming sun porch. The kitchen had all the equipment you need. You can wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the stream. The rock pool in the stream along with the inner tubes provided a lovely opportunity to relax is the pristine water. "This was one of the best places I’ve stayed at. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms (so many showers and they were all pretty large), plenty of different spaces to hang out including the main first floor where the kitchen/dining room/living room is all combined, basement with various games (pool table, video games, arcade game, workout space, chess), and so much outdoor space. "Beautiful getaway just a few hours drive from NYC. Close to hiking trails and outdoor activities, but also a good amount of restaurants/bars nearby. The host was very communicative and accommodating. The dome was the very clean and comfortable. The host also provided a small bottle of champagne and snacks which was a lovely touch. "
