"The cabin is very spacious, very clean and well-appointed. The bed is comfy with lots of warm blankets, the bathroom well stocked with towels and toiletries, and the location is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay tremendously, especially having morning coffee in the Adirondack chair in front of the cabin, listening to the morning birdsong."

"Home pretty much secluded, very private.pet friendly and surrounded by an Amish community. It was what we were looking for. Most of the time we were sightseeing and enjoying beautiful places in Upstate N.Y. So the home was kinda nice and fitting for us. "

The area was calm and peaceful just like we wanted, but any activities weren’t that far away to drive. The boat rental place was just down the road which was also convenient for fishing. "Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is...

"The bungalow was exactly as advertised. Great location and spectacular view of Seneca lake. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was how firm the bed was, but that's probably personal preference. Used the fire pit every evening and sat on the porch every morning with my coffee. Easy check in and out. Perfect couple get away experience and great location to surrounding wineries and towns. "
