"The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house."

"Very nice clean property in the basement of a beautiful home in the woods. Was very comfortable. Plenty of space for all of us. Private entrance was nice. Small kitchen area was perfect for what we needed. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Was close enough to anything we wanted to see or do. Close to airport for travel. Very nice place to stay. Thank you!"

"This was a great experience. Check-in went well. It had plenty of rooms for myself as well as my dad and bridesmaids (some who were married and needed private rooms). Overall we had everything we needed. Although I wasn't there for checkout I was told it went smoothly as well."

"The house is a nice little place to stay, very quiet and away from noises. Easy to find. The goats were very cute to watch. Didnt get a chance to use the pool but looked like a nice place to cool off after exploring the area. Was about 20 min to downtown historic Fredericksburg but wasnt a bad drive. Only challenge i had was the shower is on the smaller side, a moveable showerhead would make it easier. "

"This is one of the best places I rented! It is a lovely house and nicely decorated. We felt at home right away. I was looking for peace and quiet which I found but there is also a lot of entertainment and games to spend time with family and friends. I will definitely go back!! "

"EVERYTHING went very smoothly. I’ve never booked our family vacations (I’m 70 years old!!) I was concerned about it being a gated community (nope, never had to deal with that either). The hosts were very patient and thoughtful about all my questions and concerns. The house suited us perfectly and everything was there that was needed and even wanted. There were 4 young teenage boys and they were never bored. The kitchen had every appliance we needed. Only had trouble finding the vegetable peeler....
