"The hotel is old and worn out. It has charm which I think they base their room rates on (quite high). The staff in reception and in the restaurant were really service minded and helpful. My room was next to the ancient lift, which creaked and rumbled until about 1 am. The bathroom was in poor condition, with black mould in one corner, the shower curtain was old and dirty and the shower head was broken. The bedroom had old water stains in one corner, presumably from a leak in the roof and the carpet was stained. The bed (single) was clean and comfortable."
