"From arrival we felt comfortable and welcome. The cottage and surrounds were very special. The owners have put a lot of thought into comfort and enjoyment for their guests. After taking in the initial beauty and serenity of the place we entered to find a bucket of feed with which to feed the goats. It is rightly named the ‘Country Cottage’ from the wood fire inside to the blue wrens and goats outside. We absolutely loved it and were sad to leave. The cleanliness was not at a good standard; dirt, dust, grim and dog hair all over the house. "it was going well until we ran out of gas on the BBQ after 5 minutes of cooking. No spare bottle, we're expected to drive into town to get a replacement. not happy."

"Some pans unwashed, internal doors rattle when windy, made for difficult sleep, fire place wasn't clean ready to use, house is dated but overall done Us for 4 nights. If you stay there make sure to take coffee ,tea, sugar , milk, salt and pepper. Don't expect 5 star and it will do the job."

My daughter and my nephew competed in the Great Ocean Rd marathon and even though weather conditions were challenging, the beauty of the coastline was still amazing!
