"My wife and me really enjoyed staying at 5th Avenue, Madrelle. The property is in good shape with all the facilities for our use. It was home from home. The views from the porch, especially at night, were to die for. The in country manager and owner was absolutely great, they were always available to resolve any issues we encountered and answer any questions. Would stay there again."

We woke up each morning to stunning views of the mountains and had coffee in the outdoor kitchen/living area. The location was also ideal to the local attractions and the city of Roseau. Ginette and her daughter Ari checked in daily to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone...

"There was nothing to like about this place. It was dirty smell of marijuana. The bathroom had no lighting. the roof was dirty and mouldy. Honestly i don't think this place should be advertised to rent for people. I ended up booking somewhere else because it was not accommodating. The picture advertised is not the real place. I'd like a refund because i only spent 10minutes at this palce and left."

"La location est bien située, ds un cadre agréable, mais elle est mal entretenue, extérieurs mal aménagés, circuit électrique défectueux, intérieur défraîchi, voiture épave ds le bas de la maison. La moitié des lampes ne fonctionne pas, pas d’eau chaude à l’évier et au lavabo. Accueillis par la femme de ménage qui a fait tout son possible pour nous être agréable. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

"This property is a tranquil retreat in the middle of a forest and adjacent next to a beautiful river that we all loved swimming in! The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! Our only regret was that we didn’t have more nights here!"

"Well maintained home with plenty of space. Sunrise and moonrises were spectacular. Decent grocery shopping in Calibishie but the best store we found was Savers Enterprise in Portsmouth. Safety & privacy were excellent. The house is sited in a way that no one can see and there is no other property "looking down" on you. Gweneth (mgr) told us the do's on dont's for safety at check in and Chris (owner) was very responsive to all inquiries."
