"Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations...

"Exceptional location, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat and the mount! It surprised us how well the house is stocked and everything is in great condition and plenty of life!The house is toasty warm with the fireplace going! There is plenty of space, and upstairs is great fun for the kids! Having a dog friendly accommodation that has been well looked after is absolutely amazing! Above all - our host was super accommodating when we got stuck on the mountain for longer than anticipated!...

The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations of which walks best fit our desires for waterfalls and general fitness. All in all, a terrific experience, and we'll definitely be back!"
