"We spent a family weekend away for my wife’s birthday. Plenty of room and comfortable for all of us. Great enclosed rear garden for the dog . Tne property had everything we needed although a few bits maybe need upgrading it was absolutely fine for a short break. The beach’s was just a couple of minutes away and absolutely stunning. The only downside I would say is the surrounding area which was very run down . All in all we had a nice stay ! "

"We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. The town gets busy in the holiday season so you may need to book. The cottage also has a very helpful guide for visitors with lots of tips and advice to improve your stay. The shower extractor...

"An amazing property located in beautiful surroundings. The sheep are an added bonus.The deck is a lovely space to eat breakfast and watch the world go by and there are lots of lovely walks close by. Being opposite a pub that does food is a bonus and the proximity to the sea is perfect. Easy to find with safe convenient parking, the house had everything in that anyone could possibly want. Comfy beds and a superbly equipped kitchen.The hosts were absolutely lovely. We got to bottle feed baby...

"We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"
