"The accommodation was A class , gorgeous facilities and luxury bedding . The barn with open fireplace and use of high tables to share a platter with friends was also wonderful . Recommend and will definitely be back "

"Lovely place to stay in a quiet little town. Fireplace was cozy with plenty of firewood, well stocked kitchen with ample delicious breakfast supplies and a complimentary bottle of wine which was actually very good. Everything was spotlessly clean. If you need to contact the host though, use a text message not a message through your booking platform as this was not read."

"It had everything you could want, and very comfortable with great views and walking distan e to the town centre, lovely."

"The Lavender House was absolutely amazing. Breaky provisions were more than enough. Great location of you want to hire a bike and ride along the Reisling Trail. A 20 minute walk into Clare if you want to eat out. The night sky was fabulous! Will definitely stay again!"

"Such a beautiful cottage, perfectly located. Alexandra is a great host and has thought of everything to make for a very comfortable stay. "

"Our stay was a very positive one. We just needed communication re booking in process by text, not just email. On the road, I had no access to email and had to get my son to retrieve booking info for us. This was the only problem with the stay - breakfast hamper was excellent!!"

"Very relaxing stay, gorgeous place, loved the fire-pit, private sauna and views. Only minor issues, fridge was missing door rack so couldn't put open bottle of wine in there, no reply from host when pointed it out. Stools very flimsy, worried they would break when sitting on. Robes and slippers would have been nice as bathroom tiles were freezing. Otherwise enjoyed the region and wineries. "

"This cottage has been restored to perfection and was considered a home rather than a house by our family of six who stayed for four nights. The interior could be straight out of a glossy magazine and my Mum (in her 80's) was constantly wowed by the authentic vintage utensils on display. We were fortunate to meet our hosts who were even more charming than their cottage. A leisurely afternoon, with a wine or two or three, watching the delightful AJ sing should be a compulsory component of any...

"A spacious, beautifully furnished and presented home in a quiet area with off-street parking, was just what we required for our getaway.A very comfortable, relaxing home to explore the area; plenty of things to do in the towns and wineries and we found casual to fine dining restaurants offering tasty food and expansive choice of wines. Thank you for having us "

"Excellent location. Wonderful room with the all amenities needed, good aircon, fine WiFi, nice bathroom (alting missing a handheld shower head). Please note that the room is not very soundproof – on our first night, we had no one living nearby, but in the second night we could hear a lot from the room upstairs. Extremely friendly staff. We rented bikes which was super easy and fair priced. "
