Everything in the city was perfectly walkable: the local market, bakeries, coffee shops, the main plaza, Sacsayhuaman. We found it to be an ideal base for exploring and we felt very safe. "We had a wonderful experience at the property and found the staff to be very accommodating. They gave us recommendations for a cook who did a cooking class and also provided us with a city tour guide. It was a 15 minute walk to the city center that was easily navigated. The neighborhood was quiet other than the nightly fireworks we had to leave very early on our last day and there was a staff person available to let us out the front door at 4 AM"
