"We extremely enjoyed our stay here! Especially the sunroom. We are repeat visitors. The beach is right outside the door, beautiful and private. If you need things to do, the rec room is absolutely full of games and ping pong and foos ball and darts and everything you could want. There are also 3 refrigerators! This year, we actually ventured out and took the glass bottomed boat tour!"

"We had a great time at staying in the cottage in alpena. We came with our 3 year old and had a nice time exploring the city. The house is outside where most of the main attractions in but only a 15 minute drive. We went to the dinosaur park, Connie’s cafe, the old and new light house, the thunder harbor museum and shipwreck tours! There is not air conditioning there so a fan is a great idea to bring. "We had a great week on Long Lake. Chet and Lauren have done a lot of work on their property, and it shows. The cabins were very quaint, comfortable and clean, especially the beds. I like that we brought all our own linens and bedding, I feel that is more efficient for both owner and guest. The lake, the use of the resort's aluminum rowboats (we attached our own motor), grills, firepit and outdoor furniture made it a fun, relaxing week and we all agreed we would definitely like to return to...

"My family, along with our golden retrievers enjoyed our stay at the Sunken Lake cottage.
