"Our stay at Le Chalereux was perfect. It had everything we were looking for and more. Lots of privacy which was ideal for travelling with a dog who is reactive with other dogs, so we appreciated how truly secluded the property was. It was great to be able to relax for a couple of days with a view right on the river. We really appreciated our time at this property and thank the host for their hospitality. "

"GREAT STAY. Dan and Lisa thought of everything. Stayed for a week during a heat wave at end of June. Cottage stayed nice and cool, river was very refreshing. Family room and bedroom downstairs perfect for teens to have their own space. Highly recommended."

"My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3-night experience at this tiny house/cottage. It's a couple minute drive from a small quiet beach on the Ottawa River and there are many good places to hike in the area. And to have fresh eggs from their chickens was great! "

"Great little basement apartment. Set apart from the rest of the house. Owners are very helpful and kind. The apartment was very clean and updated. Full kitchen and all cooking utensils. In a cute safe little neighborhood. Great experience would definitely recommend this place. "

"Cottage was everything we hoped for. Our own private beach, paddle boat, board and kayaks all in great condition.Beautiful lake. Nice campfire in the evening. Kitchen spacious. We had our 3 grandchildren. We all enjoyed the fishing, swimming and boating.Beautiful sunrise/sunsets.Only thing missing were outdoor lawn chairs. We had brought 2 but there were none there. "We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! "Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. "

"The whole property is very clean and tidy. The host is very helpful and friendly. The cottage is easy to get to and just a few minutes from town and the ski hill. The waterfront is nice for swimming. Overall, we were very happy with the spot and would return. "

"This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna."

"What a beautiful cottage! Plenty of comfortable sleeping accomodations, very well equipped kitchen, and confy cozy gatherings areas. Perfect location to enjoy and share among collegues and friends. Despite the rain, we were able to relax, chat, play games and enjoy lots of laughter. Amazing!!"
