"The area and location were fine with us. However, the actual cottage plus the site were not suitable for us as seniors in our 80's. The ground was uneven for walking, and the many steps down from the deck were too much for me with a walking cane. There was much that needed attention inside the cottage itself which showed some lack of upkeep. However, on the plus side, our young ones enjoyed boating and fishing. "The dog friendly cottage is in a beautiful location with an excellent view of the lake from the balcony and the large dock. It is well stocked with everything you could need. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very comfy. I would certainly consider returning."
