My only complaint is that I communicated the urgency of needing an ironing board and they promised to get me one but they never did. Please get an ironing board next time as most of your guests will need one especially if they travel to Cincinnati for work. I highly recommend the place and will definitely stay there again."

"It was one of the cleanest places we've been in a long time. I was suprised how much space was in the rooms, which made it more comfortable. We had three people in our room and didn't feel crowded, even though we set up a camping cot so we didn't have to share beds. The staff were also friendly and accepting to us and other people we saw in challenging situations. The shower ws big enough to turn around comfortably! (I have 22" shoulders and have often had trouble turning around in hotel...

"The cabin is perfect in it’s location. It faces a pond and the host has placed two bird feeders in front of the cabin. It was great fun to watch the variations of birds( we counted 11) we watched the deer come to the pond in the morning and at dusk. We watched the fox run across the yard. We were close to Hocking State park and hiked both Friday and Saturday. It was perfect! We laughed, ate, shared stories,ate, rocked on the porch and did I say, ate?!! "My family and I loved our visit to Marion Hall Manor. Communication with the host was perfect. We have already told our friends about our experience and hope to come back with a larger group. We loved the architecture of the building and learning about its history. Great visit overall."

"Property is cut but could use some love. Definitely needs a new cleaning crew. Obvious carpets not swept. Beds very comfortable, shower has decent water pressure. No soap in shower or kitchen sink. No blow dryer. No book with instructions had to request wifi code. Master bedroom carpet VERY stained. Back porch light broken. Front door threshold very bent and dangerous. Throw in living room needs washing. Dead bugs in the silverware drawer. I wouldn’t stay again until it gets an upgrade and new...

"Perfect little cottage for the two of us! Loved the area and the fire pits to make it more cozy in the evening. The host was very responsive! The only thing I would suggest is some updating to the place (some painting would help too) but otherwise perfect! Would go again for sure!"

"The building definitely has some crazy odors, but the room itself smelled really nice. It was clean and comfy. I stayed with my husband and 2 year old and it was a little small for us but would definitely stay again if it was just me and my husband! Host was amazing and had great communication. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get in touch with nature but does not want to go tent camping. "
