"Everything was great. Owners really tried to make things staying there super easy. It is close to the downtown area so we really did not have to drive far. Everything was comfortable. The only thing is that we travel with our dogs and we did appreciate the accommodation taking them in the back since they were smaller dogs was a challenge. "The Bear Necessities Cabin had everything I wanted. Centrally located to mountain biking and hiking. Only 5 miles from Cortez for picking up food, etc. Relatively quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Amenities like a decently equipped kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer for my extended stay made for a comfortable stay. "Very soothing little oasis outside Mancos. Nicely appointed, quiet, with lovely, lush green surroundings. Felt very private. An easy, short drive to Mesa Verde. My singular complaint is that it needs better pillows, but that's such a minor issue. "

"This property is just adorable! We loved it! It is brand new and immaculate. The house is extremely well stocked with anything you would need and is beautifully designed and decorated. The surrounding mountain views are breathtaking, and we enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night. The TV has good streaming options, but they also have a blue ray player and a huge supply of discs. We really enjoyed watching old movies on DvD! "Perfectly named - amazing sunset views, easy access to both Mesa Verde/Canyons of the Ancients and the San Juan mountains (Durango/Silverton), lots of amenities and extras, very comfortable beds, over-the-top coffee bar, grill, firepit, hot tub, plenty of room even for our group of 5, amazing view of stars from deck (and even binoculars and star gazing books to enhance the experience!). "This little place is super cute and SO easy to stay in. The light switches and drawers all included labels, so finding things was really simple. Lots of really cool pine countertops, tables and shelves (if you appreciate quality woodwork). The location was quiet and pastoral, but only a few miles from Cortez and its assortment of restaurants. If I ever head to Mesa Verde again - which I may - this will be my first choice."
