"I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. "

"If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle."

"Nice and cosy cabin for a short stay. This was a nice place to stay amongst the RV’s. Restroom and shower was downstairs and could be used by everyone in the resort. But the room was nice and clean. But be aware that you can hear the people next door very easily. Kept me awake until 2AM. And remember towels if you stay in a cabin. Did a nice little hike to the falls. 1 hour walk there and back."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at the bungalow. It is near the river and quiet. You do have a train that comes by often, but it was to the thrill and amazement of my 10-year-old. We walked down to the river and fished a lot, which is only 100 yards from the bungalow. If you’re looking for granite countertops and an eight persons Jacuzzi, this might not be the place for you. It’s just a quiet old farmhouse that is clean and functional for a small family. You’ll do a lot of front porch...
