"We have stayed here several times. Unfortunately this visit was not as good as previous. There were issues with noisy guests above us. The place had an odor and communication was difficult with a few of the front desk guests. The beds are small and not that comfortable. There is a main control for the AC which they wanted to set at an unusually high temperature; it would also switch down/off at night. "Large room are as advertised The loftrooms were big enough, but had low head hight and are only really suitable for older children as they are high and open. There is no lift so could be awkward to get to 2nd floor rooms with large suitcases. Staff were helpful and coffe was lovely. Would stay there again."

"It's an absolutely beautiful historic Japanese home in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It's a great way to escape the business of the bigger cities for a couple days. Check in was easy and friendly. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away and they have a Family Mart about a 5-10 minute walk away.
