"We absolutely loved our time in the cabins on Chippewa lake! The cabins were very clean and cozy. They were stocked with all the amenities needed for our stay! The cabins are bigger than they look online! A steep walk to the lake but not a problem. The dock and water was perfect for kayaking and playing in the water. "This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!"

"We had a nice experience staying here. Don was very kind and friendly.. he supplied all the amenities you’d be looking for except for TV and Wi-Fi. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. He had a stack of firewood with fire starters If you want to have a fire, there was a grill available upon request. It’s only 10 minutes from Baldwin. It’s a great jump off point for going to places like Leland Traverse City. We took a day and drove up M22 . We enjoyed exploring Michigan. I would rent it...

"This worked out great for 3 days of work in the area. Highly recommend. You couldn’t be any closer to the river… literally 6 feet out the door at the edge of the awesome covered patio. Wish I could have fished more but unfortunately had to work most of the day. Did catch a monster pike the last morning before leaving right out the door. Excellent stay, hosts were great. "
