"This is a lovely cabin surrounded by trees in a peaceful environment. It is convenient to Jasper, AL and therefore it is a short drive to Bankhead National Forest, 20 minutes to Clear Creek Recreation Area, 30 minutes to Smith Lake, 1 hour to Birmingham, and 1.5 to Tuscaloosa. "Our stay here was perfect! From the creek to the upstairs porch watching the moonrise- we enjoyed every minute. We spent time exploring the property, cooked in the kitchen, and ate dinner outside in the wonderful weather each night. During our stay, I also explored the local national forest and hiked in Bankshead. We also went to Tallulah Brewing in Jasper- great dog friendly spot! The hosts of this property clearly care and it is obvious in the cleanliness of the home. I can't wait to return...

"What a unique stay! I love this cabin, it's clean and fresh and new. It has a sweet smell of cedar when you enter and a lovely view of a deck and a common outdoor fireplace out back with the river running behind it. "My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time. We are coming back. If you want to make an offer to sell, let me know. "

"Cabin is more of a hunting/horse riding cabin. Very clean and in a quiet, beautiful, secluded location. The A/C went out during our stay, but the owner was very prompt in attempting to repair. This happened on a Sunday, so no technician was available. The owner moved our party to another, comparable location and did everything to make our stay memorable. Would definitely stay again. Feels like home."
