"Absolutely gorgeous little cottage on an acre and a half. The location was less than a mile from Fanning Springs and the boat ramp. We were very close to great bike riding in wildlife as well. The little cottage itself was perfect. Off grid a little so expect it but everything you would need for two people. "I had a wonderful experience staying at the Withlacoochee River Bird House! The location right on the river and the property was exceptional. The house was unique with its decor and had a lot of charisma and character. Very thoughtful touches to welcome guests. My pup loved it and didn’t want to leave! The host, Dana, was great and very kind. Wish I could have stayed longer!"

"We had a great type staying the very adorable tiny house! It was well decorated (maybe too well) and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had never used a composting toilet before - so that what was our least favorite part. Everything else was top notch. We all found sleeping in the lofts to be very cozy and comforting. We had everything we needed to store food and make meals, a nice TV, and a shower. Excellent stay!"

"From time of reservation through checkout the host was exceptional with communication. The house was so clean and had everything we needed. Loved all of the towels. Perfect location, close to McRae's where we rented a pontoon noat for the day. Gorgeous area!! Close to restaurants and the waterfront. If i had to mention anything it was the squeaky bathroom door which in the middle of the night was an eye opener It was funny!! Terrie was a great host!! Will definitely book again"
