"This was a complete mess. To start, they forgot about our reservation and had to put us in a temporary room for two days. During this time, there was a blackout that no one thought to update us on. Honestly, that temporary room was the best part of the stay. Our official room had a roach infestation and, when I told the host, he had a fumigation company come and spray while our bags were in there (of course, this ended up with roaches running into one of our bags). "Coming back from a beutifull 15 days at Villa Soleil. I can not say enough praise for all the team at the villa that made our holiday worthwhile. Everything was spot on and the made us truly feel at home. Communication with Wolfgang as the owner was also great, nothing was too much a problem and arranged also a fantastic safari stay. We already miss the place and will keep it foundly in our hearts. Asante Sana!"

"Maisha Bora is really a small Paradiese."

"The property wasn't very clean and had the personal effects of the home owner in piles on the various patios. There was a pool slide that didn't seem safe to use near the pool with wasps living in and the pool wasn't very clean. There was no drinking water provided. The fridge was not plugged in or cold. There was a dog on the property that was not listed in the description. I tried to receive pictures of the additional bedrooms from the host for months before hand but she never sent them and...

"A very clean, safe and comfortable property. Definitely more like an air B n B that has some hotel qualities. We enjoy cooking and the Amani had all the cookery we required. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only perplexing part was when we asked to extend our stay. The travel websites I checked said that there were vacancy's but when we inquired the front desk said no and it appeared to me that they didn't even check. Also no elevators so if don't like stairs this may not be for you....

"Overall a very enjoyable experience. Well fitted out apartments in a great location with easy beach access and convenient for local supermarket, bars and restaurants. My only criticism is the with some of the listing particulars - Breakfast is not included, toiletries only extend to bars of soap, and the bar was not open due to the fact they had 'residents' and wanted to avoid noise. Apart from this misrepresentation I would happily recommend these apartments."

Great stay in Diani

"We stayed at the Tombo House for 7 days and had a great stay. The room was spacious and beautiful in a minimalistic style. Tombo House is placed inside its own big garden which is beautiful with a lot of different plants, a swimming pool, a nice area with a bar where you can chill and a rich animal life. Seeing birds and monkeys from your balcony adds to the experience. The highlight of the place is the people. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. Especially the two girls in the breakfast kitchen do an amazing job! Should I mention one thing that could be improved it would be the pillows. There is one small pillow per person. Additional pillows or bigger pillows would be great. Would recommend this place to everyone who wants a relaxing stay in Diani. "
