"Beautiful house with great access to the lake. The neighbors were very friendly. The community boat ramp is not very good at all. I won't use it again. There is a public ramp (Crosby's) located about 10 miles by car and approximately 1 mile by boat, which is very nice. If you are parking a truck and boat trailer at the Cabin, you must be an expert at backing a trailer, as it is very tight."

"This was our second stay at this property and we were thoroughly happy once again. Since our first stay in September, the owners have installed a fireplace and built a beautiful wooden mantle around it. It was warm and cozy during some very cold evenings. I even used the full kitchen to cook a thanksgiving dinner! This is my go to property every time I visit my son at GMC. "

"We had a great time staying at the Asylum house. I will not lie it was a bit scary driving up. Once there it was a blast. Walking around the old Hospital grounds. We think we got some voice box recordings. Did hear some screams, well we think we did. Saw the old Prison creepy for sure. Must go to the old cemetery. Could have used more towels, but that would be the only down side. So if your looking for a place that has a past, this is the place. Its a must see for sure. Thanks. John. "

"Excellent location in general for downtown area and only .5 mile or less to Atrium Health Navicent medical center. We have friends who live in Macon and they agreed we were in a great, safe location! The apartment was very spacious, immaculately clean and super cute! We had everything we needed. Nice touches like some snacks and coffee pods, guest toothbrushes etc were really appreciated. Great communication! Fortunately we were able to extend our stay as needed due to an extended hospital...
