"This place was nice but more like glamping. The property really looked a bit worn. Just an fyi. When it rains you hear every raindrop. The shower is a little weird set up. Stairway to the bedroom was a bit weary. A sliding gate or rail for the upstairs so no one would tumble down the stairs. We stayed 4 nights. It is close to a lot activities and towns."

"Very clean. Well equipped and comfortable. Unusually large, modern bathroom for a cabin of this size. Great library with all sorts of interesting stuff to browse. Took awhile to figure out all the lights and ceiling fan with their associated switches - a few labels would be nice."

"This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Harpers Ferry. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Their home is neat, clean and convenient to all the things you want to do on a visit to the National Park. Although there were only two of us on this trip, the home could easily handle a family of 5. I would say that all you have to do is bring your toothbrush, but the hosts even supplied toothbrushes in the master bath! An incredible value."

We went to nearby Hillsborough Winery then came back to enjoy the hot tub and fire ring on the deck with a breathtaking view. It was clean and exactly as described!"

"This was a great get away with lots to entertain 3 grands ages 10-15. Hot tub was great. View was amazing. It was a good 15 minute very curvy road UP the mountain. We didn't venture out much. Kitchen was supplied for what we were cooking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor eating spaces for our 6 people. Not much space for outdoor play but that wasn't a problem for us. Lots of games provided including basketball, Foosball and ping pong.Lots of steps to get up to the front door but so worth...
