"First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! We lost power one night (the entire area, not a house issue). I messaged the host and received a response within minutes (at 9:30 pm). "We had a wonderful stay at the Above the Clouds Chalet! The house was spacious and full of unique antiques for us to look at and enjoy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with most everything we needed down to paper towels and garbage bags. They had even supplied our favorite coffee for the coffee maker! We used the deck quite a bit, eating our meals outside, as well as using the hot tub which was on the end of the deck. The deck supplied you with views of the valley, no matter the time of day....
