"We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). A few electrical glitches typical for older homes-plugs in guesthouse were wonky and couldn’t seem to get enough light. "What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!"

"We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. "
