The only thing of note is the cabin and outdoor jacuzzi are within earshot of another cabin, which is not great for privacy if those people are outside. But otherwise, great stay and would definitely recommend with a wonderful and kind host."

"Beautifully kept property, inside and out, with views of the Smokies that were unparalleled anywhere else we’ve stayed in the past. The host was very accommodating and friendly, and our family of 4 enjoyed the peace and quiet offered here. I loved the German aesthetic in the cabin, and we all enjoyed the outdoor space the gazebo offered as well. Be prepared to trek up some unpaved roads to get back to the cabin, but it’s well worth it! "My wife and 4 young children had a great getaway on Douglas Lake. This home provided a comfortable space in a beautiful setting that was just what we needed. The little beach associated with the neighborhood was a hit! We spent hours swimming in the lake and fishing. There were no kayaks provided at least while we were there but the swimming kept us entertained. We rented a pontoon for an afternoon on Douglas Lake which was beautiful. The kids had a blast tubing and swimming in the lake. David...
