"Parking is limited, especially during weekdays 8-5, but there is public parking nearby (unknown cost, we were out and about). The harbor view is off a fire escape, quirky and fun; ferries run every 15 minutes and sometimes you get a larger ship. There is a Salvation Army nearby; I'll leave it at that. Great location as a hub for things to do in and around Halifax. "

"The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again."

"When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. "Simon is extremely hospitable! Exceptionally clean room,if you love the outdoors to sit quietly and get away from the city, this is definitely the place to be."

"Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay."

"We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. It’s a bit of a drive outside of the city, but we were just there at the end of the night to sleep, so we didn’t mind it, and it was a nice, quiet area. All in all,...
