We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. "A notebook was provided with every detail about the property imaginable, along with appliance manuals. Property was spacious and comfortable! Just remember to hold the handle up on the exterior door while engaging the deadbolt! Wonderful location to Cellardyke and a quick walk to Anstruther. "Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
