"We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. "We really enjoyed totally this Candlewood lake house. it has a fantastic view and a large, beautiful lawn with a fire pit. The owner was a pleasure to work with and she even allowed us to check in a few hours early.The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. The views are fabulous, but if you bring your own boat, the property is at the tip of the lake and the water can be a little rough from other boats going by. "

"This property is a wonderful alternative to the expensive hotels around Greenwich. It was no frills - there are two bedrooms with large beds and TVs, a bathroom, and kitchenette with a pod coffeemaker. We didn't spend a lot of time there, which worked for us. It's quiet, backcountry Greenwich, on a pond. We saw a fox and a baby deer and fell asleep to the bullfrogs. "
