"Ela Mesa is a very nice and well-maintained hotel with clean rooms and pool areas. It is a quiet hotel, mostly for families. The staff is very sweet and helpful. The restaurant serves a fine breakfast and you can also get both lunch and dinner there, which is also very nice. Only thing is the very hard mattresses which seems to be a common thing in Greece. There is a 5-min. walk to the quiet village where there are a couple of very nice tavernas, cafes and a supermarket. Beach is also 5-10 min...

"Loved the quietness of the island which made sleeping excellent. We had a room with a balcony (not many here) and enjoyed sitting, looking over the harbour and enjoying a glass or two of wine. The breakfast was served in a quaint dining area and had a great selection of items to eat. Will definitely come back here again. "

"There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"

"Dejligt afslappet atmosfære og super service. Hotel- og poolområdet, er smukt indrettet og meget lækkert at opholde sig i. Her er ingen stress og stedet er ideelt til afslapning. Vi lejede en bil for en dag til 35€ den blev leveret til hotellet og afhentet igen. Nemt og enkelt. Genvalg? Helt sikkert!"

"Great property for a quite stay. 3 min walking distance to the beach. The property is surrounded by beautiful plants, like rosemary, and many more. The only thing I would add it’s a pool. But for me, it is a 5 star hotel! "

"Amazing 4 days trip. The hotel location was excellent, the staff very polite and helpful, the bar/pool area very clean and nice, the sea view so relaxing. All as described. We got a 3h tour around the island with a private guide that was very nice too. Thank you all."

"This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!!"

"A breathtakingly beautiful location with superb spacious accommodation and welcoming, but not intrusive host. Be prepared to tackle an unmade road down to the property, but the destination is worth every bump! The air-conditioning was especially welcome."

"This was such a great place to stay. About 50 yard walk to the sandy beach and the town with shops and restaurants is maybe another 100 yds. Great view and pool was really nice. It doesn't call it out, but it does share the pool with the house to the right as you face the pool. Wasn't a problem as the people were super nice and we really didn't have any overlap issues."

Roligt nyrenoveret hotel med en fantastisk udsigt
"Et skønt hotel med en fantastisk udsigt fra vores værelse som havde havudsigt. Alt personale på hotellet var meget servicemindet og ville kun det bedste for deres gæster. Hotellet var nyrenoveret så alt var meget lækkert. Både morgenbuffeten samt restauranten var lækker og man kunne nyde sin mad på den skønneste terrasse med en fantastisk udsigt over havet. Kan kun anbefale Apollo Resort og kommer gerne tilbage. Ligger på en rolig placering og det tager ca. 15 min at gå til byen hvor der er hyggelige restauranter og barer."

"We had an amazing time at Achilleas - so friendly, clean and fantastic service and happy couple taking good care of everything we needed. The room was nice, and the place in the middel of Hydra with a great view from the roof top was so nice. We will for sure come back. "
