"A lovely designed cottage in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our long weekend stay for our son’s Birthday. We went on a couple of walks whilst we were there and the family relaxed at the cottage with added bonus of a hot tub to relax after the walks. We must also give a big mention to michael whose communication was first class, helping us with anything we needed and even suggesting to do and local taxi services. Prior to the stat and during he was always there to assist with anything we asked."

"We had a wonderful time in "The Cottage ". It is cosy and well equipped. Nice walks and pubs around. Juliette is very friendly. We would stay again there, if visiting the region again."

"It was small but had everything I needed. An instruction book for the combi oven/microwave would have been handy, and a rail to hang my clothes on. Very good shower. I did have problems locking the door from both the inside and outside. Great views, even though it was on the A66 it was very quiet."

"The house was everything we needed, opposite a pub and the swimming pool. The villagers were very friendly and helpfull, especially in the swimming pool. Unfortunately the internet stopped working on the third day but the rental company responded out of hours to help sort it out.."

"We were very impressed with the instructions and ease of getting to and finding the location and keys. The bed rooms were large and spacious. The kitchen well stocked with utensils. The location peaceful and quiet. The amenities adequate and the location perfect to both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. "
