"You get what you pay for - cheap, not value. Spent the first 2 hours cleaning because it was barely touched - even dining table and chairs had crumbs and spill stains. The coffee maker was black inside the water compartment. I had to pick up silverware and dish soap from the dollar store because there was only 2 forks and spoons for a place advertised for 6 and no dish soap to clean dishes. "This was a clean and comfortable property with great woods and pond views just outside the village of Walton. The fire pit and table tennis table added a lot to our experience. "

Using the grill was easy; everything needed was there for cooking and cleaning. Grabbed a 1860 book at a nearby Hobart bookstore, enjoyed lunch from the Bakers Grimm in Delhi and dinner another night at a brewery in Cooperstown following an hour drive to the baseball hall of fame. "This cabin was exactly what I was looking for, a bit rustic but very nice and clean. Amenities nothing flashy. Communicating was very good. I went for back country hiking and this cabin is located in the middle of the Catskill Mountains so I had a great experience. I enjoyed it so much that I am deciding to rent it again."

"My friends and I had a great summer weekend at this place. The master bedroom is huge and has two very comfortable king-size beds. There is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, but the fans were enough to keep us comfortable. The property is beautiful overall, though the floors weren’t very clean and the refrigerator could have used a better cleaning."
