"We really enjoyed our stay at the Ponderosa cabin. It’s a log cabin so electric outlets are scarce. The cabin is off of the main road by about 9 miles of small twisting paved roads making nighttime driving a challenge. A really nice setting for a relaxing few days. Gary is very accommodating. "

"We wanted a quiet, calm vacation and that’s what we got! The cabin was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you would need. The host, Nancy was very nice and responsive. If you plan to stay awhile the nearest Walmart is about a half hour away in Jasper. Kelly’s for lunch or dinner in Celestine and Cranberries in Jasper were both very good."

"Vicki & Philip were “great” host! Too often when you rent a place like this you never see or meet the owners. Like I said, they were fantastic and actually added to pleasure of our over all stay. The place was perfect for the 6 of us. The only negative was not being able to get regular TV to watch the College World Series baseball games and the US Open Golf Tournament. But this could have been the lack of our knowledge of the tv system. But that would not stop us from going back. "
