"We thought booking a superior room would be the better option for a long weekend in Dublin, but this was clearly a huge mistake! Superior rooms are facing the street and right across the hotel is the Copper Face Jacks nightclub which from midnight till 4 am turns the street into an inferno of partying drunks and about a hundred taxis hooting to get out of the crowds. The room was spacious and the bed large, but with a single glass window there is no chance to block out the crazy noise from the street. There are lots of rooms on the back of the hotel, so other guests have probably enjoyed their stay, but not for us. Also, in the room there are no hooks to hang your (wet?) jacket and very little space for clothes in the closet. Breakfast was mediocre and not really worth it with so many nice coffee and brunch stops around. The bed was good and the bathroom great. We will not stay here another time."

"Clink i làr is a hostel/hotel catering for young and old. We were a family of 5 and had a dorm room for 6, with toilet and shower. The room is very basic as expected, it was clean and had 3 bunk beds, with lockers etc. Only problem was the lights in the bathroom and toilet, which are on censors, sporadicaly did not work. There was also a water problem on our last morning resulting in a lack of cold water. Luckily we had showered before this happened. The location is great for Dublin city centre with everything within walking distance. The staff are great and the vibe of the hotel is great, with alot to encourage interaction. I would really recommend especially to young people travelling but also to families who are maybe not necessarily looking for luxury but convenience."
